While walking the dogs one evening, I noticed a green dragonfly sitting in the gutter being taken away by ants. I picked up the dragonfly and brought it home to photograph the details of the dragonfly. As I setup my little studio to photograph the dragonfly, I also had to pluck off a few ants that I didn't want in the photo. It was at this time, that I noticed the dragonfly was still alive. I put a small brush with bristles under it's legs and it grabbed them. Hmmm, so as I looked closer, I realized that one of the wings was damaged as well as a leg.
For those of you that might not have seen a dragonfly up close - this was taken with the Nikon 60mm macro lens - the detail and sharpness of this little dragonflies face is amazing!

One of the many wonders of our world....
