The joys of being outside with nature. We ventured off to the mountains to see waterfalls and other things not common in Florida. This particular state park is located in Sapphire, North Carolina and is called "Gorges State Park". Croc Encounters, Tampa, Florida

Croc Encounters is a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing reptiles. I did not know it, but this place is literally 10 minutes from our house, so we visited using the "Sneak Peak Saturday" coupon which is $5.00 for each person in the family up to 5 (I believe). Sneak Peak Saturday is from 11am to 5pm (definitely the hotter part of the day in the summer).

Steinhatchee - Scallop Season 2016 opened last weekend

Wow, we spent last weekend in Steinhatchee, Florida and the scallops are very good this year. It seems that FWC (Florida Wildlife Commission) did a count before the season and found over 180 in the area they scanned versus last year it was around 50. Big Difference!!!
This trip we stayed with some friends that have a beautiful home here in town.

Recently Jim and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Travis and his family. Travis arrived in this world just under two weeks before we met him. We enjoyed our time creating lasting moments for Travis and his parents as we did several poses using props to create these photographs.
