It's that time of year again!  The high schools in our area are having their prom nights.  This year I had the opportunity to take pictures of several young ladies who attend Tampa Catholic High School here in Hillsborough County, Florida.  Four young ladies, many friends for a long time, all dressed up in beautiful long gowns.  One of these young ladies invited her friend, Nic Haggar, to be her date as well as the chosen driver for the ladies.  The location of choice for the photographs is University of Tampa.  I arrived early to check out various places to take the photos as well as lighting as it was predicted to rain - yet there was no chance of that happening - the sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and there were a lot of young people and photographers roaming the grounds of the University.
 

In a quiet moment, I captured this picture of Nic - I love the easy, relaxed pose as Nic leans against the brick wall near the Henry B. Plant Museum on campus.
 

His date for the evening, a beautiful young lady posed on the front steps of the University.
 

These photos were converted to black and white in post-processing. All of the photos were taken in color and a few select photos were converted to black and white.  Here's the entire group of young ladies with Nic.
