The Henry B. Plant Museum is located on the University of Tampa grounds in downtown Tampa. The museum is decorated for the Christmas holiday season and celebrates it's Victorian Stroll annually. This year we visited again to enjoy the decorations and 'find mice'. A little fun for all, but if you have children - perhaps it will entertain them to look through each room and find the hidden mice counting them along the way. My favorite room is the one with "Santa Claus" and this blog entry features photos from this particular room. To view all the pictures, go to the gallery. The museum has cleverly set up a place where you can take a picture of the Christmas tree and see Santa in the reflection of the mirror without actually catching yourself in the photo. Here's my photo taken from 'standing at this spot'.
Santa's camera looks a bit different than mine, it reminds me of the old time cameras that I have only heard about but never actually used (nor thought of it). Hiding under the black cloth in order to be able to see the image the camera will capture is Santa.
Lying at Santa's feet near the base of the tripod is his bag - just like you'd expect - bright red with his initials!
Here's hoping everyone has a happy holiday season! Be safe, be nice and enjoy.
